Spring in the north doesn’t move through weeks of mild weather, sun and birdsong. The beginning of May can seem like a repeat of autumn with raspy winds, yellow grass and even snow. And then as the month is drawing it’s last breath there’s this sudden hint of a greenish yellow crowning the trees, and that’s when you better keep your eyes open because the transition into early summer is so fast you might miss it!
June doesn’t look much like this picture either but the colors are much the same 🙂
Birch, willow, grass…and the bright, stark skies.
It makes no promises but the greens thaw out our hearts.
